Introducing Michel Atlas

Born in Brussels, Belgium, in 1941,  Michel Atlas has occupied the position of  Executive Chef and Chef Sommelier in Belgium and France for close to forty years. 

In the course of his career, Michel Atlas has been awarded with numerous high distinctions:
 

As early as 1972 he was co-honored with his partner, Guy Bourguignon, with the Michelin Star, at the Auberge d’Ohain in Brussels. 

More recently, Michel has been awarded as  Maître-Rôtisseur  from the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs USA,  Chevalier de Société, from the Mondiale du Vin USA, and has been intronized as a Prud’homme of the Jurade de Saint Emilion, as well as a Chevalier du Tastevin du Clos Vougeot. 

Presently, Michel Atlas is CEO of Old World Wines Inc.,
and of Grands Crus de France.
